Posted on October 25th, 2007 at 3:38 pm by cheerleader4life and

the company i chose to email was skittles. i asked them when they were going to come out with a new flavor. i love skittles, but eating the same flavor over and over again is kind of boring and they’re not as good aanymore. pluse it’s near halloween so they could make alot of money off making new candy right now. they haven’t responded back to me though.

cheerleading blogs!
Posted on October 25th, 2007 at 11:19 am by cheerleader4life and

i reasuched cheerleading and i found this blog, i picked it because i felt that i could really relate to some of the things she was saying and i liked the blog. it took me a while to find the right blog, but after it was worth it!

Cheerleading was my passion. While I made and worked on the presentations, I felt as if nothing in the world matter more than what I was dancing and cheering on. Many people teached us cheers that the school had before, and this made us even more better. Right now, I am not a cheerleader anymore. This is so, because Ms. Elsy no longer works in my school. I hope one day, another teacher as good coach as Ms. Elsy teach us even more things, so one day we can become great, and the best cheerleaders ever!

i can really relate to this, i feel the same way, i think cheerleading is the most important thing in the world. when i’m cheering nothing else matters, when i get hurt i get back up and fight through it because i know it will all be worth it in the end. cheering takes alot of determination and hard work and if you don’t like to cheer it’s not going to be something your going to stick with!

what happened to the rainforests?
Posted on October 18th, 2007 at 6:06 pm by cheerleader4life and

our oceans and atmosphere are not the only things being damaged rainforest are also being destroyed. their survival, questionable! but unlike other environmental issues the rainforests have received a lot of attention from the public and the media. even though oppositions have been made against cutting down the rainforest people still do. rainforests once covered 14% of the earth now they only cover about 6% and experts say the remaining will be gone in 40 years! one and a half acres are lost every second! almost half the worlds species of plants, animals, and micro organisms will be destroyed or threatened over the next quarter century due to rainforest deforestation. we lose 137 plant animal and insect species everyday! There were an estimated ten million Indians living in the Amazonian Rainforest five centuries ago. Today there are less than 200,000. we are destroying one of our most valuable resources, the rainforests are so important to our everyday lives and we don’t even realize it! so i’ll leave you with one last question what do you think about that and how do we stop it?

i listened to my podcast here http://cephalopodcast.com/blog/2007/07/16/claire-nouvians-book-on-deep-ocean-creatures-featured-on-pbs/#comment-32152

i think that the podcast was interesting it was short and the music was kind of creepy, but i thought it was ok. i learned about the different kinds of animals. i wanted to listen to one on cheerleading but i couldn’t find one so i decided to do sea animals because i love sea animals.

Patriot or loyalist?
Posted on October 11th, 2007 at 10:59 am by cheerleader4life and

should Sam be fighting in the war?? patriot or loyalist??

i think Sam should definitely fight in the war. it’s a chance for him to fight for what she believes in and be responsible. i think that dieing is worth it, because he wants to be free and freedom comes with a price. if Sam doesn’t fight for his country who will? even if it goes against his parents better judgement he should be a man and he has a right to make his own decisions, it’s time for him to stop depending on his parents, he’s in college he has a right to think for himself and he doesn’t need to rely on his parents anymore. i don’t think people should try to talk him out of it either because he’s not going to listen then he’ll get mad at you and if he does die that person will feel bad. i think that  Sam has every right to fight in this war.

Mom My Arm!
Posted on October 4th, 2007 at 1:54 pm by cheerleader4life and

ever since i can remember i’ve had this hard spot on my arm, i guess i really didn’t think anything of it because i just thought it’d go away. then when it had been on my arm for about 5 years my mom took me to the doctors to get it looked at. the doctor just said that it was something from a virus i had and it’d go away, but then we realized it was growing down my arm! we went to the doctors again and told them that it hadn’t gone away, and they took another look at it. they at first thought it was thrombosis,(something that chokes your veins) but they weren’t sure so they sent me to a vascular surgeon. he said it definitely wasn’t thrombosis,(thank god!) but he really had no idea what it was. he said it was in my skin and recommended a dermatologist. so a a few days ago i went to see her, she said it was one of two things but she’s really not sure what it could be. she said she will do a biopsy in eight to ten weeks. i’m really scared i guess it’s just the fear of the unknown, because i have no idea whats going to happen. i don’t know much about what my arm could be she really didn’t go into detail about ether of the things she thinks it is, but what i do know is that  one of them i worse then the other and the one that it sounds like is the worse one! i’m not to excited to go back and find out what it is cause i really don’t want to go through surgery! i hope it’s the one i can live with on my arm!

“What are the greatest obstacles to the fulfillment of my dreams and goals?”

your five years old, your mom has sent you in the toy store to get the latest toy you want. THERE IT IS! on the shelf you see it! but what is that?!? someone else is reaching for the last one!!! you ask the lady at the counter, and she says there’s no more! the toy you’ve saved your allowance for three weeks for, gone! this is what it’s like finding a job. as you can tell i think that other people are the biggest obstacles. your constantly fighting for what you want, weather you’re five and it’s a new toy or you’re 25 and it’s the job you’ve always dreamed of, people are your biggest threat! and weather you know it or not your always taught to fight other people, your teacher gives out an award to the highest scorer on the math test, you might think this is because  they want you to do better, and in a way it is, but it’s also teaching you to fight, to be the best, to beat all the other students in your class. and if you think about grades are like this too. they’re just something for you to show off. you go around school bragging about who got the best grades, it’s the way everything is, you always have to fight for what you want because it’s a dog eat dog world and only the strongest will make it!
